Don't forget about the filters on the bottom of the fuel pumps. I would run the fuel pumps with the line off the injector pump for a few minutes to make sure there isn't a slow restriction.

Every generator owner needs to have a kill a watt meter to verify voltage/hertz. at generator or in the house when the generator is running. Here is a link for one at menards...

Do you have a part number for the dexter axle?

I bought a couple of these at harbor freight. They seamed to be good quality.

My m1009 makes the sound of buzzing bees after starting. I grab the air cleaner housing and it goes away, even though everything is tight. The noise goes away after the engine warm up enough to kick the high idle solenoid off

My glow plugs started the fuzz/flutter noise after I did the resister bypass, no manual button, usually 5 to 10 seconds after I start the truck, but still works good.

Might try the GSA auction site as some CUCVs were given to rural fire departments and now are selling them.

Finally figured what I did wrong I hooked up the voltage regulator to TB1 and TB4. It should be TB1 to TB 3. Also pictured is the configuration to get 120/240. Hope this anyone that has problems.

I did switch the SX460 with second spare with the same result. I did check line to line and was getting something around 340 volts. I did check the reference on TB1 and TB4 on they were high but cant remember what they were. Will check tomorrow and let you know.

You can also cut the crimps off the hose fittings with a hack saw and find a hose that fits over the barbs and use worm clamps. Ive done this a few times. But not for sure if this will work in your case.
