I search some old threads on this issue and I think my problem is related to the air drier. I have air seeping out the bottom of the drier and the truck will not build any air pressure. It has acted up in the past and i was able to rap on the drier assemble and it would close up and work. That...
I personally think the desert tan trucks are ugly. To me there's nothing better than a woodland colored camo pattern. But what you've done with your's looks good. really helps break up the tan and it looks like it should be that way. I like it
Why didn't you paint the stake sides and troop seats?
Parade went great. we had the longest rig with the most wheels in the parade and probably rank right with the fire dept's ladder truck for most wieght also. We were unit 64 out of 68 I think and other than a friend of our having his willies pulling our church float we had the only MV's in the...
Going to Parade the truck tomorrow for the first time. I'll be pulling a civi trailer for our local hardware/ rental store. Going to load some equipment in the bed and on the trailer for my buddies at ACE Hardware. Should be a good time and the kids are excited. I'll post some pics when we get...
Can this be done without trouble. I'm pretty sure they are 12v/24v trailers so I guess fifth wheel hieght is my biggest concern. What do you know about these trailers? Thanks
those fuel filters look just like what you'll find on alot of John Deere tractors just not black. I didn't know that style was used anywhere else. that is interesting!
Thanks again to everyone and wheelspinner just to confirm you were right the PPV solved the problem and she's working great now. I also changed the canister on the dryer while I was in there. The one on the truck was painted over so I assumed it was not part of the 2010 rebuild on this truck...
doghead, easy boy. this started out as a simple question and i'm taking a beating here. The tm's are confusing as **** and I tried the simple search for protective vavle and got no where. yes I changed the cheap part first shame on me but I got to work on the truck which I enjoy and this is a...
Guys I would like to clear a few things up. First of all thank you all for the help and Wheelspinner I didn't ignore your advise I simple got in a hurry and tried the first cheap part I came to that might have fixed it. However it did not and I assume that your original assessment was correct...
I don't know that you need to concede! The tm's can be very helpful if you understand how they are suppose to be used and have the time to look through them.
I did the search you mentioned and came up with ZERO help there, just alot of non related stuff, and I can find nothing in the tm's that...
Yea I've heard of those things and even read a few but unless you wrote the thing or had experience in the military they are a pain in the butt to read and find anything. Somethings can be found in three different tm's and you may have to look in all of them to figure it out. It's a lot simplier...
It wasn't a total waste of time... Now i can say I know how the change the air governor on a M939!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So where is the PPV located on this beast anyways? And where would I find a replacment?
