    Best 24 volt battery charger?

I called NOCO regarding excessive heat on my 7200 and they said it was normal! It's a great charger and I've used it to bring completely cooked batteries back to life using distilled water and the 7200! Sent from my Lenovo A5500-F using Tapatalk

    Battery Advice needed

I brought my four Hawker Batteries back to life using what I believed to be is one of the best and intelligent chargers available, the NOCO Genius G7200 Smart Charger. It took four days to do all four batteries after a bad PCB had toasted my Alternator. Now they work like new!

    HMMWV Batteries

Go with Interstate and buy blems for 50 cents on the dollar. Any Interstate store or dealer has them and they come with a warranty!

Alternative Cab Heater Opions / Options

I priced out FFH as I had one in my Unimog 421 years ago and the least expensive unit I found was $995.00! Thanks for the suggestion on multiple cores, never thought of that! !

Alternative Cab Heater Opions / Options

Sorry for the late in posting my picks for the new heater, had been down with some health issues. I plugged my truck into the 1200W block heater last week, when it was 17 degrees, of course the truck started on a half a crank, took it for a ride and I had great heat in the cab. Here are some...

Alternative Cab Heater Opions / Options

Thanks to Jarhead, I finally finished the installation of my new in-the-cab heater. Using a 15 amp in line fuse, I wired it to the existing OEM switch. I used the passenger and driver's defroster ducts and this unit blows much better than the Hunter OEM. But the test will be in another month...

Alternative Cab Heater Opions / Options

New heater arrived today. Hope to install it over the next couple of days. I work slow! The radiator shop is repairing the OEM heater core at no charge. Hope to sell the entire OEM unit and recoup some of the new heater's cost. Will post the installation pics.

    M923a2 Alternator confusion

IMHO, the stock regulator / generator caused my truck numerous electrical issues. I've since upgraded to a one-wire alternator sold by one of the SS vendors. The kit included brackets and was a snap to install. I now have nice clean charging power and about 20% more amps than the OEM unit.

Very nice job, thanks for the input. Could you post or pm the specs on this heater. Thank you!

Alternative Cab Heater Opions / Options

If you are referring to mine, the new core started leaking last week. I'm calling the shop this week as he said I had a one year warranty. I thought I "cushioned" it adequately, but it's an awful core enclosure design subject to lots of engine vibration and road bumping around! Thanks!

Alternative Cab Heater Opions / Options

Can a member please post either a thread or part number for the S10 heater core alternative? Thanks very much.

Alternative Cab Heater Opions / Options

I may consider the first option, but need to explore the S10 core first.

Alternative Cab Heater Opions / Options

Thanks again, just priced them online and for $40.00 shipped it may be an alternative. I am wondering if the hose connection holes in the core enclosure would need modification?

Alternative Cab Heater Opions / Options

Thanks for the suggestions. Just think no matter how well you protect the heater core inside that huge inefficient heater assembly, itit going to be problematic.
