    1963 404 Unimog, Should i keep it?

    clutch i had a simler problem on a unimog 401 , if you remove the floor plate between the seats you will find a inspection cover , this will give you axes to the clutch ,i slackend the bolt and fitted longer ones removing presue off the plate this alowed the plate to brake free ,

    your moter should be a M180 . Look on the drivers side of the block below plug 6 for the engine number ,hope this helps. M130 was fitted to some trucks with hard cabs became standard fit from about 1973.

    I youse a old gear pump and return line filter asembly off a forklift ,save my old filter when servicing trucks hope this helps

    I have a 2.8 Isuzi trooper engine running a 45 kva gen youses all my wast oil thined with whats to hand then run through a 3 micron filter ,has heated fuel filter little slugish till up to temp then runs fine .
