    Another M1102 lighting question

Sounds like the lights are bad, mine did the same. I wasn't able to find the right ones on Amazon, I got mine from Ryder Fleet Products for around $6. I have the part numbers on my M1102 blog: http://www.referenceonly.com/M1102

    Rusted out M416, worth it?

Thanks. Can you tell if it's anM416 or not? Would you think it's salvageable? Or at least get it useable? Not looking to bring it back to all original, just something to tow behind my FJ, when my M1102 is too big.

    Rusted out M416, worth it?

The only pic I took through the fence. Now I'm thinking...is it even an M416? I remember seeing tailgate provisions...

    Rusted out M416, worth it?

I can weld and will be able to repair some of it. I'm just really wondering where parts and or panels can be found

    Rusted out M416, worth it?

I haven't been real close to it yet. It's sitting in a private yard at an industrial building. I found out who owns it and I will try to get in touch with them on Monday. My goal is to get it for peanuts.

    Rusted out M416, worth it?

Located an M416 in an industrial park close to my work. I'm thinking about rescuing it, but the tub and floor seem to be in bad shape, and the tailgate missing. Is it worth my time? Can tubs/panels be found still? I'm not interested in the fiberglass tub kits.

How I solved the M1101 to tall problem.

Thanks. I didn't want to go with a long receiver arm for the reason you mentioned. plus, the rear door of my FJ just about clears it, and will completely with airbags installed. that couldn't happen with a 12" arm on the pintle.

How I solved the M1101 to tall problem.

Yep. There is a giant steel roller on top in the receiver area which keeps it from binding up, so with a longer arm like mine, it still works.

How I solved the M1101 to tall problem.

Here's what I did: Had the machineshop in town cut the ring off at the extension box (it's hollow) and weld in a 6" channel, and a 3/8 plate on the bottom. Gives me a good enough drop, and sits almost level behind my FJ Cruiser.

    Another M1102 lighting question

I have an M1102, 2007 mfg, with normal incandescent tail bulbs. Changed those out, and wired in a 4 pin connector per the many threads here. When I powered things up, all the lights worked properly, with the exception of some of the (they appear) LED Markers. 3 run much dimmer than the others...

Govliquidation Condition codes on M1102/M1101 question

Looking at some trailers, seeing H = Material which has been determined to be unserviceable and does not meet repair criteria. X = Property has some value in excess of its basic material content, but repair or rehabilitation and/or uneconomical. and F = Economically reparable material which...
