    WMO users in Ohio?

I googled "steel soldiers alternative fuel cat 3116" and it brought up several threads about alternative fuels. You might have found them already by now https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/atf-in-m35a3-cat-3116.83475/ https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/wvo-in-a-cat-3116.63450/...

    WMO users in Ohio?

I don't think cat's injection system like wmo or wvo much. But I don't have any experience or heard much about people trying. Heard good things about pre-'03 tdi though. Again no practical experience myself but just things I have read on the interweb. Sorry I am not much more help. Hopefully...

    "Inventing" a "New Multi-Fuel Engine"

It's been fun so far. Haha been thinking of boats, trucks, generators, boilers, and list goes on. I do have a single pass centrifuge. It cleans it nicely. I have a bunch of different sources. So there is some variety. Not to hijack the tread. I need to get egt's out in my trucks so I can see...

    "Inventing" a "New Multi-Fuel Engine"

Glad to see this thread is back going! Been lurking too haha. I recently got (august 2017) a 1997 dodge 5.9 Cummings with ppump and it has been eating what I thow at it so far. It plugged the catalytic converter but other than that is been a champ for 13k now. Not sure wmo cause the plug but...

    Flow rates when filtering

I bought a cup measure from a dollar store and made it so I could take off the clean out-flow hose. I used camlock fittings. Then I just measure how much comes out in a minute. If you have a faster flow rate than measuring cup can hold. You could do 30 seconds. I use a ball valve to adjust the...

Didn't think so, but yah that was a pretty deadly stupid question

    Any chemists on board?

What about putting an bubbler to aerate the oil and get it to off gas it? Thinking weighted hose and a valve with a compressor or a fish tank bubbler in one bung of a 55gal drum cheers

Need some input on pump options for my Used Engine Oil.

Heard of people using old power steering pumps from junk yards too. Would have a pulley on it. There are some with remote reservoir. I remember an Astro vans for some reason

Need some input on pump options for my Used Engine Oil.

Got these at different times off of Craigslist for my polishing filter setup. But sounds to be what txfirefighter was talking about. I don't have part numbers though. I can get data plate info if you are interested.

    Hydrometer the deuce juice?

Yep zahn cup for viscosities. There is a table to reference. Hydrometers(some come with thermometer built it) is a density tool. Which most things are then related to specific gravity. There is a wiz-wheel for getting temperature corrected results. I was think there might be a correlation...

    Hydrometer the deuce juice?

Has anyone ever check the specific gravity of their wmo mixes to see where it falls in relationship to diesel? Thinking of 80:20 wmo:gas for example cheers

Need some input on pump options for my Used Engine Oil.

I found a wilden 1inch aluminum double diaphragm pump on Craigslist for cheap. Bought all the hoses and connectors, which was the expensive part. Found out one of the diaphragms had ruptured and had new ones put in. No big deal, really. It will pass 1/8inch particles without being damaged and...
