Not a direct answer to your question but I find a targeted Google search far more effective than the forum search. All you have to do is include `site:steelsoldiers.com` in your query. I also usually add "FMTV" to cut down on the CUCV and HMMV results :)

If the clearance needed will be just a few inches, maybe consider a raised floor just in that front section. It's pretty common to see, gives you some extra space for storage or infrastructure, and easier to work around than an awkward hump in the center.
This looks really great! I just did a similar setup but I followed Donaldson's guidance to support the housing from the bottom. I'm not sure it really matters, honestly. I'm also running a Donaldson "Informer" gauge on each unit which is effectively the same as the old dash restrictor gauge.

I should also say, a stout piece of pipe or 80/20 may work even better because you can get it up into the bracket pocket and still have room to move the big bolt into place. Less things to go wrong.

I appreciate the confirmation! I'm tentatively planning cutting above the roof seam to add height with some sheet metal work to make it look "factory". Also considering double stacking the PSD intakes on one side to buy a little more width.
