Got a M1008 from government surplus. GP card was missing so I bought one and installed it. Now my M1008 glow plugs and wait light are on all the time! aua Has anyone run into this problem before? Is there possibly a bad input to the controller or is the GP card itself definatly the culprit...

Start it with the light on after waiting 30 seconds. I didn't want to wait anymore fearing the glowplugs would start to swell soon. Does the system just take that long to work or should I keep waiting?

Got a new glow plug card and put it in my M1008 today. Now it starts perfectly but the wait light stays on. I turned the truck off afraid the glow plugs would crack. KOEO the light will stay on for 30 seconds before I turn it off but it will start in the first 10 seconds no problems. Did I...

PS. I don't want to put in a button to force the GPs on as all our firefighters will be using it and the GPs would be cracked and bloated in the block in a week. :cookoo:
