Hello everyone, I've finished up the latest project, which is a replica WW2 armored car for our reenacting group. I'm throwing one of my spare VIC-1 systems in it, its not period correct but sometimes safety is more important. The donor chassis has a 12 volt system, but I need to step it up to...
I tried to argue to keep it running, it was going great when we acquired it, but I was overruled. :P At least it will run again through someone's project.
We are stripping out parts from our museum's V-100 to clean it up for a static display. I caught the maintenance guys who are painting throwing away lots of parts, so I grabbed what I could and hopefully we can get these to people who need them! Right now I have a complete radiator assembly...
Hi everyone, I have come into possession of 3 track sets for M113's. Is there a market for this track or should it get moved to the scrap pile? Any idea of worth if people even are looking for this?
Thanks

The good: running engine all combat rims fairly intact cab, with working winch
The bad...

the engine was looooong gone but the gentleman did have a spare engine and transmission from a M-37 to put in it. Engine is getting crank reground right now, tranny is getting cleaned and painted. Found the serial number, forgot to write it down will go back and get it after it stops raining...
So I finally have my WC52 broken down ready to be sandblasted. Took longer than expected but the Army keeps thinking that their work is more important than my WW2 truck project.......go figure.
So how much paint do I need for this monster? I'm doing it in early WW2 olive drab, probably going...
How well do I know this friend? He is the kind of friend that if you told him you needed a spare kidney he would be first in line. He is truly a gentleman of honor, something rare indeed in this day and age! In addition to that he is a civil war reenacting buddy who wants to see our ww2...
Was poking around a friend of mine's ranch last weekend and ran across this !!!!
its a wc-51 or 52, no data plates but the body is in incredible condition, no rust!!! (gota love southwest desert)
that's the good new, bad news is there is no engine. Someone took out the original engine and put...
