    Silly Newbie Question ...

:roll:Jaxsof, try a hammer and a screwdriver. No matter how many keys you have that are the same, you won't need them anymore.

    6.2 fuel pump...?

GPrez, how about a double throw setup. On and off with ignition, and a seperate switch to shut off power to fuel pump? The switch is left "on" for normal use. Easy fuel stop in the "off" position.

    6.2 fuel pump...?

Just a thought (maybe a bad one): I like the simple -on with ignition-, but what about a seperate switch for the fuel pump. It would complicate things a bit, but unless someone knew the details of operation, maybe a good theft reduction system?

M-1028 Paint job, 383 green CARC / Rock Slider installation.

I think that if you use dehydrated water the surface would have more texture and thus be less light reflecting.

    Sea Foam?

Sea Foam does work for fuel problems. I had a Honda 40 hp outboard that ended up with a tank of pump gas then sat for a month. It would barely run when I next took it on the lake. I changed the plugs, fuel filter, no luck. I put a can of Sea Foam in about 5 gal of gas and kept it running...

Advantage of a CUCV over Civilian truck

No AC. That can be good, as in no leaks, compressor failures. Or bad, like it is 101 degrees in the shade.

    Setup for deep snow?

I'm with you guys. A taller tire gets you through deeper snow. Deep powder can be a blast. My Jeep likes to use it's skid plates like sleds. They slide up on top of the snow, then the tires dig down. If they can't grab some ground before the axels settle on snow, I am stuck and it is time...

Sorry, like most things, some can be fun. Too much of a good thing can kill you.:-D

    Setup for deep snow?

The only "safe" way to drive through really deep snow is not chains or lockers, or tires. Those all help, but a plow (or blower) to move it so it does not get under the vehicle is the only way that will keep you moving in a wheeled vehicle. Skid plates, axels, or the under carriage will sooner...
