    That is correct Sir, on the passenger side there are some holes drilled vertically in the transmission tunnel but the bottom two holes have rivets in them, haven’t got underneath to see what their purpose is. The bases came with all types of brackets that I don’t know their purpose

    Does anybody have a link to properly mount the rear seat bases, I have a helmet top in a two man configuration that I would like to add the rear bases to. I have a complete set for the rear bases but no hardware. Any help would be appreciated

    Crawled underneath the HMMWV today and confirmed there is no hose assembly in the fan shroud area

    Does the radiator need to be removed to install the hose that connects to the fan clutch?

    I appreciate all the help, I have been trying to go through the TM for a reference to see how the hose is routed. I took a look under the fan shroud and do not see anything connected to the fan clutch. I did see this attachment point on the back of the radiator but unsure its purpose

    Was going over a HMMWV that I recently bought and noticed the line from the Cadillac valve has been bypassed, any ideas why this was done?

    So while I have been working on my M1009, I acquired this truck. It’s a 1992 6.2 diesel with factory radio and AC. 13,000 miles and is all original. It has a power inverter behind the seat for a 24 volt radio.

    I loosened up the bolts quite a bit, but could not get the threads to line up. Will try again and hopefully it will get squared away. I appreciate the advice

    Had some time to work on the lift pump, arthritis and a torn rotator cuff have kept me sidelined. Was able to get the pump bolted up but can not get the solid fuel line to connect. Any tips/ help would be appreciated

    Do you guys recommend using RTV or just the paper gaskets ? I am getting in the garage tomorrow to install the correct pump if my arthritis isn’t too bad
