The higher voltage was only for a min or less (total time) as I was trying to adjust the voltage regulator. Those lights were not even being used at the time. zero lights were on. So logically none of then should of burned out. Just another weird adventure with the M998. Oh and those bulbs...

Ok, problem I.D.ed.. I was looking for logical when none existed. Why just 3 out of 4 flashers not working, why not a side marker light or 2, or a running light? Thank you for the help.. It was just the flasher bulbs. I guess you are never 2 old to be amazed at the weirdness of stuff. Lesson...

I will start checking bulbs in the morning. I would think if I had blown the bulb, the whole bulb, not just the part that "flashes"..

If it Was the switch or solenoid, why does it still work on one light? Then why the is the brake light only working on one side? All worked as it should until grounding kit and voltage regulator replaced. The running lights work fine too.

Some lights work, other do not

Ok, here is my story/problem. I have 1991 m998 with the 6.2. 2 weeks ago while driving I noticed the volt meter jumping around. When I got home I went to adjust the setting on the Alt. It went from somewhat stabile to either on or off. 30+volts, or not charging. I purchased the grounding kit...

Thanks for all the help/replies. I spent some quality time with the TM last night . Going to tackle it on sat. Sprayed some penetrating oil on it a few days ago, so hopefully no problems adjusting it.. Thanks again. Now all I have to figure out is how to get my picture part of my profile ..lol;)

Goes all over the road only when wet

The suspension looks fine. Replaced the geared hub output seals on the rear and did not notice anything damaged. The bent rim was only a tiny bit bent and to be honest I can't remember it if it came with this HMMWV , my trailer or the 1st HMMWV I owned (long story there. Gov Planet could not get...

Goes all over the road only when wet

Sorry about that.. I am running 37s . Tires are in good shape. Got rid of the dry rotted one, the one with the bent rim etc. It is an on-road HMMWV. The rear tires look like the toe is off.. between the front and back.. the right side rear points more in than the left. Just by eye balling it.

Goes all over the road only when wet

I think I know what causes it, and how to fix it, but before I spend the money I want to check with everyone to see if I am right or wrong. I have a 1988. When it is dry out it runs fine. Had it up to around 55 mph with no real problems. Now any time the road is even a little bit damp any speed...
