Jeepsinker, Thats what I did. My U-bolts were not long enough for 12 leaf springs. Took both 12 and 10 leaf springs apart. The top 2 leaves for my 10 leaf springs were broken, I replaced them with the top 2 leaves from 12 leaf springs. Used spring bolt from 12 leaf spring to reasemble 10 leaf...

It's good to have a wrecker, when I was in military the only recovery vehicle my unit had was a M578VTR, It could do alot but was a job to get it out of MP to go on a mission, when you returned it was a bigger job to get it cleaned up, in addition the cleaning up always ment a good wash rack...

I agree with everyone before me, the LO was written well before the new GO was put on market, the military changes as the market changes, when your engine was new it came with SAE 30 but was changed to 15W40 many years later, same goes with other fluids.
