I received my valve in the mail. Is it normal for the thing to go past its “full open” and then restrict flow again? One pic is the max open the valve will actually be. Other pick (less daylight) is when the lever is all the way to open

I’m pretty sure there are clamps there already. Holding in the valve that went bad.

Did that one work with the cable? I still need to replace mine with the manual cable style. someone else had tried a cheaper valve, said it didn’t work.
