I had noticed the oil seal housing gasket faulty..On the Deuce M35A2 we (the two Cadets were fixing.).
On completion it leaked!.
I will do a write up tomorrow (it's late). But I am posting the work I put in to :.....
was fixing the breaks as they have locked up. brand new drums and cylinders but must have been faulty break fluid as the cylinders have rusted up. he adjusters wouldn't work so ive had to take it to pieces.
I'm not sure but as it stands at the moment it will probably be a willys jeep. I work on one that has had a V8 engine put in and I'd love something like that!
Strictly speaking not this week but replaced a section under the front left wheel arch on a m45 firetruck for air power steering. Nothing major just a small repair :)
I am a new member. I am not yet old enough to own a military vehicle. But I am VERY fortunate to have been allowed to "adopt" an M45 fire truck. (or did I just commandeer it?). I am looking forward to the war and peace revival, and have already been to 2 events.
