how to turn up fuel...in pictures?

I'm experiencing all of these things. Exhaust pops weird. Lots of black smoke at idle. Truck takes a long time to start on a 70 degree day. I only by-passed the FDC and didn't adjust the fuel at all. I went down 10 flats on the fuel, and it still has a really hard time starting, pops out the...

    yagenrok's General Deuce Build Thread

Here's some pictures of my deuce as it sits today. I've done a lot to it in the last several months, and I'll try and catch everybody up with more pictures and write ups on the different mods I've performed. Last weekend, I made a gooseneck hitch for the back and towed my friend and our bog...

    yagenrok's General Deuce Build Thread

Here is a picture of the fuel line I had made and where it hooks up. Notice the different fittings. My friend said it would be easier this way and it actually turned out very easy to install. It runs from the final fuel filter to the hydraulic head as seen in the old TM picture. This part of...

    2nd alternator, 12V

Excellent points. I guess I'll try my hand at fabricating a second alternator bracket. I've got the Pyle 24v reducer installed and my gauges work great, but like someone else said, I'm not sure how long it will last. Then I'll be stuck driving somewhere without a pyrometer.

    2nd alternator, 12V

Ok that's what I always thought but now that I think about it, how do you get 24v off the first battery? I used my multi-meter and grounded it to the frame and then touched the positive terminal on the first battery and got 13 volts... But according to what you just said, i should be getting...

    yagenrok's General Deuce Build Thread

Where to begin... FUEL DENSITY COMPENSATOR BY-PASS I'm very motivated by many you all's projects on here. The crew cab I would love to do, the campers, etc. I follow a lot of threads. I've been researching many mods. I've been reading this forum for months. One thing I was very hesitant to try...

    2nd alternator, 12V

I have a dumb question. I've got two 12v batteries like everyone else in my Deuce. When I hook my multimeter up to the ground and check my battery terminals, I get 12-13 volts between the two batteries. Nothing at the ground obviously and 26-30 off the terminal that the starter is hooked up to...

how to turn up fuel...in pictures?

Well...I was going to first, but I figured it was easier. Plus, if I got some more fuel out of it and got it around 1200* I'd be done.

how to turn up fuel...in pictures?

Just added my boost gauge and pyrometers to my M35A2. In 4th up a long hill, 100% throttle, couldn't quite get to 2500 rpms, gauge showed 5 pounds of boost and almost 950 degrees. So if the hill had been longer, or if I would have had any load (I don't even have a bed on right now), it'll be...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I just installed my boost gauge... At 2500 rpms, full throttle, I got 5 psi. Guess I need to turn the fuel up, change my fuel filters, etc

    2nd alternator, 12V

Well, I ended up getting one of these for my head unit and speakers. It had good enough reviews to try for $40, and I don't need a second alternator or battery. I would like to do the 2nd alternator and third battery, because its more reliable, but I guess not until I have more accessories to...
