The ECV not only requires a new winch plate, the solenoids are on the opposite side of drum….its a pita to install on an ECV.
100% this. I just did this and i had to jack the motor around, reorient the winch, order a new plate and hoses and slide some chafing gear between the motor and my radiator hose. You will also need different frame extenaions. My $500 winch cost me an additional $2500...

Has anyone seen the ECV specific winch setyp for sale?
I have a winch on an 1114, but it's set up for the rear. Been wanting to take it off as I am parting out the M1114. There is no remote and the system itself is kinda weird. Judging by the cable and how its perfectly wound, I don't think it's ever been used...buit then it's been sitting under this M1114 for about 9 years...
