I had read this before I posted, but it looked like it would be too much of a hassle. Thank you though.

The ECV not only requires a new winch plate, the solenoids are on the opposite side of drum….its a pita to install on an ECV.
100% this. I just did this and i had to jack the motor around, reorient the winch, order a new plate and hoses and slide some chafing gear between the motor and my radiator hose. You will also need different frame extenaions. My $500 winch cost me an additional $2500...
