What did you do to your deuce this week?

Normally I would't pull it out, but I have to gain better access to the front of the IP. I can't fit a small pulley puller in their with the rad in the way. So i guess she's gonna get a rad flush also.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I dont know if this helps, but I found this for you. I think from reading it that the 3002AD, and 3002AE are very similar, if not the same. 1-12.DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MODELS . Well I have decided to pull the radiator off this friday in attempts to reset the timing on the IP. Wish me luck, and any advice to make things go easier or quicker would be greatly appreciated.. Im afraid I may have to replace the radiator hoses after I remove them. I guess i'll find out after...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I almost forgot, I did find a original military ladder that would have come with the truck to get in and out of the back of the van. So i guess it wasn't a complete waste of a day.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

So a quick and painful update. The good news is I figured out why my oil filter canisters were leaking after the recent oil change. Come to find out I didnt pay close enough attention to what gaskets I put on out of the Napa oil filter box. Thankfully I still had the bigger ones. After install...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Thats excellent! Ive had mine since october, and finally got her running after about 30 plus years of sleeping. Couldn't get fuel to the injectors. Found out the IP was frozen. Replaced it and she fired right up. Now its a sputtering issue. I cant get her above 20 or soo.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I wonder if maybe my timing is off just slight enough to cause the sputter and lack of power. It's really hard to get started, but when she runs, she purrs like a kitten. Only sputters when I rev the motor upwards to around 1500 to 1800 rpm. Then it stops sputtering.

Was the "tap" something aftermarket? I don't think mine has that. Unless i misunderstood you.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I just went and started it, and found a major hemorrhage of motor oil coming from the oil canisters. Guess my new seals must have shifted or went bad.. crummie.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

It had a gummed up IP. I replaced it, and changed the oil in the motor and the trans. She runs just fine in neutral. I put some marvel mystery oil in it and that helped alot.
