XM 757 manuals and system pressurize

This illustration shows the air line I referred to earlier. Since you no longer have the original bed, this line may have been left open (=cut). Also, not the lines going to the doors. Neither of those systems are present on the xm757, which was not designed to swim. The m656 also has a...

The NAPA oil filter number is 1133, same as for the deuce. Here is more about the oil/oil filters. Do not over torque the canister hold down bolts (60 ft-lb).

    Fuel burning heater performance

Well, Kenny, you know I drove the deuce to your place in the Winter of '06 and the bikini top is not that bad, once the engine is warmed up.

    Fuel burning heater performance

FWIW. My fuel burning heater is the Benmar and was installed 2009-2010 in the xm757 8x8 truck. Its the proper heater for this vehicle and pretty much installed as shown in the TM's. It has started reliably every time since installed as follows: 2011 Jan 02; "Smoked a lot at first. Defrost temp...

    Fuel Gauge Voltage

The fuel gauge is a problem for many. The problem has to do with the fact that is runs on relatively low resistance values (0 to 35 Ohms, or so) and that the ground circuit is shared by many other circuits on the vehicle. This is a schematic of the Faria instrument. There are three wires...

    M816 boom extention

If you have to lift over a wall and maintain the reach, the "droop angle" helps. Needed it a lot of times with the knuckleboom.

    Wehring LMTV Mods

Nice Justin! 200 gallons of fuel is a lot to haul around, did you not mean two 50 gallon tanks for a total 100?

    First Deuce Winter Experience

Chains for the 757 were unobtainable and I ended up making my own from 1100-20 size tire chains. I feel that they are that important.

    First Deuce Winter Experience

My radiator cover was permanent and stayed on all year for fair engine temp. Right, Kenny, weight on the tires (load) is directly proportional to traction. Load up a couple of tons for good traction and use chains to make it unstoppable.

M656 Ford 8X8 5 ton carrier to buy?

This tag is not an xm757, but the m656. The previous owner may have wanted to convert it to a road tractor before finding the M35 bed and marked up the tag. This is the xm757 tag:
