Correct. The TM section isn't open for discussion. There is however a TM upload section where you can upload files/make posts there, the staff will then move them. The reason the TM section is locked down is to prevent "chatter" in the information sections.

Cleaned up this thread. Any more attacks and points will be issued. As to the 700r4 no longer being made, that's absolutely true. The 4l60e took it's place. But if you really want to split hairs, the 4l80e hasn't been newly produced in a decade as well. A 700r4 could live behind a 6.2 or 6.5...

I doubt there will be anything like that in any military TM. The DOD had no part in designing/coding the TCM, they simply bought it. That said, there's a wealth of knowledge out there on the internet about the 4l80e and the logic to controlling it. And yes, the TCM (well any TCM) reads engine...
