mw mules, what all you bringing out to display?

I will prolly roll in sometime sunday with elmo and the ferret in tow. dont have to worry about the dog tag trailer any more, so no reason to go early. ELMO has changed a bit from last year, some of you havent seen him yet, he is starting to look pretty good.

ELMO just hauled scrap tp a local yard this past saturday. I am afriad if i take elmo and a trailer i will end up bringing home another truck, and i have a yard full right now,,,,,there is ALWAYS room for more though, right? BTW, this was the first time i got to weigh ELMO empty,,,,22000 EMPTY

i disagee, steering wont self center itself after a turn,,,thats is a caster probelm, plain and simple. glen do you ahve any 800 series 5 ton hoods in good shape? how about 5 ton fender mount air cleaner assemblies? need 3 of them, on can be with no brakets and crappy, gonna make a mial box out of it, other two going on elmo truck.

gimp, i agree, you could change the caster by changing the wedge around, but tonight when i was over ther,e i didnt remember even seeing one in his truck. i may be wrong. swayze, you may look again tomorrow,,,or go out there now, and see if indeed there is a wedge between the sring and the rear...

i would like to put one locker in the rear of elmo, front axle (on rear). then pull one shaft out for on road driving, put the shaft back on for off roading and have that one axle locked up. that might help traction,,,,,but then again, never had a traction problem. maybe i will just leave it...

My elmo is about as big as it gets and it can go anywhere your jeep can go, at least i will make a damed good show it it trying to anyhow. That big ol elmo went places at the off road park that i was even surprised it made it through. it went were ever i pointed the steering wheel thats for sure.

hey, werent we talkign about ir headlights? Maybe I should put some on the elmo when i drive 75mph downt the road....just kidding
