    Mark, What is your plan for the original data plates on the glove compartment. The should be solid brass and I learned a way to make the look brand new with black paint and sandpaper. Check out my thread and it may help you a little when you do your frame off...

    Mark, I purchase a complete harness for my '42 GPW and it had several wires crossed and the instructions had several mistakes. I suggest you used the wiring diagrams in the TM's.

    Fair offer on a 1945 Willys MB

    Having restored a 1942 GPW that was in fair condition I can say that there will be many areas you will need to sink money into. That being the case I would not go beyond the $800 to $1,000. Pay particular attention to the engine block, transmission and front axle and diff. Good luck.
