Possible cruise control on a 1097?

. I think we will need a little more information to help. The engine makes a big difference. The 3116 vs a 3126 that has a little more "automation" will help with the answers you get. Yes, you could affix a throttle cable on a 3116 but if something pulls out in front of you, you won't be able...

    Hurricane Beryl and Mep 803

. Yeah well... Having multiple wells is a good thing. That way if one of your generators goes down - you have another way to move water. Might be worthwhile to have a water buffalo if you have something to drag it... In case one of the wells go down.

2010 6.5 4l80 gets to 50 no overdrive and no trans light

. It might be worth the effort to Anti-Ox and clean the connectors with a stiff bristle brush.

Seems like this is turning into a build thread.

. Nothing like loosing a wheel. Especially a rear. Many moons ago going down Interstate 85... Left rear wheel pulled out and passed me going 55. Then I spotted a tractor barreling down the highway in the passing lane. That truck looked like a caterpillar climbing over the tire... Wow! He...

Lowering a M149A2 Water Buffalo Trailer??

. That would work. It just puts more strain on the wheel bearings. If you keep them greased and examined regularly - that could still work.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

. That's great! BE SURE to look through startup proceedures in the "Dash 10" Technical Manual. That will save you lots of time and money!

    264Charlie's M51A2

. That sounds pretty sad. I mean the paint job looks really nice. What about the internals? Are the Gear boxes, Motor, and Brakes okay? Or are at least some of the parts good?

Fix for my horn that is stuck "ON"...

. Possibility that the wire that runs up to the horn button has "rubbed itself raw".

New Guy M1123 Looking for the TM's

. Well, the TM's live with new and old HMMWV's in the same folder. If you have your Serial Number, you can sort it all out pretty well. You should start with the "Dash 10" book to learn how to start it. That will keep you from frying your start box... Yeah, I know most folks turn on the...

. Welcome to the Outfit! Already posting pics. Be sure to post some of your own when you go fetch your new toy. It will be worth your time to spend a little time with the TM's (Technical Manuals). Especially the "Dash 10" that explains how to start and operate your new to you vehicle. That...

    help with run flat tool

. You know, you can't really compare it up close and personal - but the Dutton-Lainson looks like it has a thicker "side rail" than the one you bought. Maybe better metal too possibly...

    Preventive Maintaince on Air System?

. It might be worth changing out the air dryer on your truck. You can buy a rebuild kit for the stock dryer, or replace the one you have. You really shouldn't be dumping water - or barely. A little air tool oil in to the transfer case line could help, but you need to dig down into the problem...

Headlight switch or lights Electrical question

. You would be better off with the "three lever" light switch. An American Made one for sure. From a reliable vendor...
