Any issues with running old surplus 37’s

It would be interesting at highway speeds for a 37" tire experiencing a front wheel blowout without a run flat to drop what 10 plus inches . That will wake you up quick. Mark

I painted my letters black but when I installed the Rhino tire carrier and tire it blocked pretty much all of it. lol Mark

Any issues with running old surplus 37’s

Is there a greater risk of a blow out? I would say sure but to what degree who knows but I don't lose any sleep over it. Just my .02 cents. Mark

Any issues with running old surplus 37’s

My MTRs are now 10 or 11 years old now as I've had my truck for over 6 years now and have zero issues. No checking at all. The put a heavy load of UV protection on military tires because of the crazy environments they are subjected to. I would like to have fresher tires but oh well. I run mine...

Question about rim nuts (not lug nuts) on 24 bolt even-spaced rims

It states 450lbs but I can say it has done every job I've asked it to do so far. It is on the large size so it physically won't fit everywhere. Mark

HMMWV CARGO EXTENSION KIT ON 4 MAN HARD TOP

I have the four man setup and I setup the modified two man troop seats to fit the four man setup. The standard four man cargo cover will not fit this setup unfortunately as it is too wide with the troop seats. I replace the old side boards with mahogany 1x6s. Mark

Question about rim nuts (not lug nuts) on 24 bolt even-spaced rims

Lock nuts makes sense. Anything to keep them tight in the field Mark

Question about rim nuts (not lug nuts) on 24 bolt even-spaced rims

The studs and nuts have an anti rust coating applied to them and I would venture that is causing the issue you are experiencing. A Little light oil on the studs will help. If you cleaned them up with a wire brush that's about all you can do. I've touched up my studs and nuts (where needed)...

    Is this wheel unusable?

I would never use wheels that are in that shape. Just my .02 cents Mark

    X DOORS

They look fixable but will definitely take some work to get them in order. You may have to replace some or all of the glass due to laminate separation. Unfortunately the price is about right for the market right now. Mark

No other markings on the box? More pics might help. I would be concerned. Mark

    Behr paint test.

I don't believe painting the stack with Behr paint would be a good idea. Besides the heat you have contraction and expansion and that may make the paint flake off over time. If you do paint it with the Behr please keep us updated on the performance. Interesting question. Mark
