    1941 K18-C GMC Recovered today

All this while I thought I had OCD by tightening the chucks like that! I even taught military machinists that trick because I used to come unwrapped when students returned with a chewed up drill bit shank! Keep up the good work!

    1941 K18-C GMC Recovered today

LOL! My wife draws the line on working on projects at rebuilding transmissions on the dinning room table. I did get away with baking painted parts in the oven though it took hrs to ventilate the house before she came home. CLOSE CALL!

    South west 3 color camo

earth yellow in a 3 color camo? Sand or tan is used as a solid color for desert camo unless it was a Merdc camo job which is a 4 color camo which was phased out in the early-mid 80's. NG and reserve units still had merdc vehicles floating around long after that! Tons of info on merdc=...

Great idea about the signs!!! Might be a good idea to put your screen name on your vehicle's windshield?? It'll cut down on the "who's truck is that?" too!

    Distracted driving

It's been getting bad around here too. I guess it's because school was out, summer, and tourist but the lane weaving and pulling out in front of you morons are everywhere it seems. I had to take the ditch yesterday because of a clown coming into my lane. I don't know if he was rubber necking at...

    Tires for mutt

Be prepared to cough up alot of $$$ for Mich XL's. I do believe they are out of production. Look into Buckshot mudders, Kelly TSR MT, and other Bias ply tires from a commercial vehicle (big rig) tire shop. I got my 9x16 off road bias tires for the Rover for 89 bucks each from a big rig shop. The...

M151A1 New to the fleet here in SoCal

They all will turn to full lock while towing. Big heavy rubber bungee cord wrapped around lower spoke on the steering wheel to the seat helps stop that. That was standard practice when we'd flat tow 'em in the Army. Always love driving trucks with skull n crossbones warnings!
