I worked on this a little today.
Made the mount for the hydraulic motor to drive the winch. Put the PTO on a few days ago. I think I'm going to try to find a rear accessory drive to put the pump at the rear. More room toward the rear. Anyone have one?
I tried to top off the gear oil and found...
I wasn't sure of the factory 5 ton winch PTO could be taken apart and reversed. I searched and only found deuce ptos being reversed. The rear output add on is as much $$ as a new PTO. There is a lot more room toward the rear though.
Finally put the PTO on the trans. Sure do wish it faced rear. Not a lot of room to mount the hydraulic pump. Maybe I'll get the rear winch done this year!
I put this rally on the calendar but I still have to run it by the boss! I also still need to replace my axle boots so I can wheel the truck. The one tore on the way to the spring rally so I didn't take it wheeling.
Hopefully the weather is better than the spring rally!
Anyone know where to get door seals? I'd like to replace them before I install flooring. Haven't had much luck.
It's a 5/8" bulb seal for a t-track like a garage door and has rubber rope like soft top cord inside.
Shop vans look different in the tm. Different pn.

Thanks. It looks better in pictures than in person! The whole truck could use a coat of paint.
