    Water Pump Question

So got it all removed only to find out that the back plate is rusted and pitted behind the water pump. I do not see the point of reusing this plate as I feel that it will only ruin the new water pump with rust particles, but evidently you cannot buy one of those around here over the weekend and...

    Water Pump Question

The bolt that holds the pump to the Block. I figured out the issue though. This front part needed a little assistance from a rubber mallet then I was able to get to bolts underneath to remove pulley Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Water Pump Question

OK... Im seriously stuck now... I have taken off the radiator and fan, but cannot get the pulley off the water pump so that I can get the pump off. Is there a trick to removing this pulley? There is a bolt behind the pulley that I cannot get to without removing it that holds the water pump on.

    Air Filter Question

Question... would overfilling the transmission fluid possibly be a cause for this? Also if so, would draining some out fix the issue or will I need to go through the whole thing as I've been reading on the Vampire issue? I just checked my fluids and the transmission fluid is still overfull even...

    Air Filter Question

So I started working on my water pump today and while at it decided to check the air filter. I did not even get the filter out before I realized what I think may be signs of some kind of an issue. So I loosened the clamp and when I went to take the end plate off the filter holder, a red oil came...

    Water Pump Question

My issue was reading the threads on here that did come up in my search said something about it turning backwards so I wasn't sure if this $32 one would fit the bill or not. Going to...

So my son just went to take my HMMWV for a spin and water is spraying all over the place from the pulley attached to the water pump. Tried doing a search on here and on the internet, but cannot find for certain. Does anybody know what water pump this takes? It is a 1990 6.2L. Thank you Stan

    Florida DMV Trip

After reading this thread, I have to say that for FL, a normal plate may be the way to go. My wife went in and registered it, the clerk registered it as a HMMVE Truck, but regardless she was out of there in ten minutes with plate in hand. This was bringing title from Alabama so it was never...
