Check the throttle shaft seals. They leak after time. They are small orings. I think there is only one, on driver's side. Check the TM.

I would put some anti-seize on those bolts when you reassemble. You can use RTV on the wet holes. That acts as a lube for the threads too. Clean up everything first. Good luck. Nice job.

What would be the impedance of the HUMVEE tach? Could I just measure the resistance between the signal + and - input points on the tach and call it close enough?
