Picked up 2 group 31s gonna replace the battery box with a metal one or modify the plastic box.

Measured the existing batteries, 10 inches long. 10 1/2 wide and 9 1/2 tall. Just gotta get something no longer than 10 inches.

Group 31s won't fit in the box?

They are junky. Group 27? High cranking amp or high reserve

Had the dead one on the charger all night and it charged back up

Would group 31 batteries fit in the tray? Gonna go tomorrow and buy 2 brand new batteries for it. SAMs has Duracell group 31s with 1100cca at 32* for $100 a piece.

Got it all hooked up. Only thing that isn't hooked up is the fire start because idk where it hooks up too. There's a fitting on the block. Cranked her over and she cranked but have a bad battery. What batteries can be used to replace the giant 6tl batteries or whatever they are.

Pump currently hooked up with fdc. Sticker is on oil filter saying fdc has been bypassed. So is it safe for it to start and run with the fdc hooked up?

I am going to need 1 of the spacers the hh where the bolt goes on to hold it down. It's missing one of the spacers

Okay, so hook it up bypassed? I currently have it hooked up with it bypassed except I do not have the plugs installed yet.

Okay, if you have the lines and they are in good shape, I'll pay shipping on them. Also have another question. How important is it to bypass the fdc? Does it really need to be blocked off and bypassed or can it all be hooked up as shown in the diagram? It will only be running diesel fuel.

Just need to figure out these lines. I have 2 hooked up. 2 of them are bent at the fitting into the injector so the screw part won't fully go into the injector. Might need to play it safe and try to get 6 new lines.

Got the lines all hooked up. Got 4 of the injectors hard lines coming out of the hh and the others are bent. So looks like I'm gonna need to buy all new hard lines.
