    Well im gonna say i had a rough time at first,But i personally like the 24 volt system,with a gear reduction starter you cant go wrong but thats me.But i can say if he keeps the 24 volt he better do the Doghead relay conversion.If he goes 12v then not needed :]

    NO its not necessary to have. The 24 volt bus bar on the passenger side of your firewall is all you are concerned with :] You need to down load the tms they will tell ya alot Good luck :] The 24 volts is the way they came and its much easier to work on than most give credit.Its a reliable...

    Glow plugs should be left just the way they are now.The only 24 volt items are the starter and slave cable outlet in the grille.I personally would leave the glow plugs with the push button set up. Just my 2 cents. :] That resistor bank has been known to cause alot of problems for these trucks...

    Oh ok ,I did my own water pump and so far so good pita and time consuming but not hard.Though the advance brand water pump wasnt as thick on the passenger side so i had to use a longer bolt and a couple washers to get my Pass alt to line up.if no one beats me to it i will get you a measurement.:]
