    M813 Combat Wheel O-rings

It is hard to beat GEMPLER'S - Outdoor Work Supplies, Spray Equipment, PPE & more for the 1/4" o-rings. That is the most common one used.

mounting 1600R20 tires on two piece rims

This is a quote from earlier in this thread.... "You do not have to run the inserts. They will bead just fine and hold air. Heck I think even with 16.00s and you run it flat you might not even know even without the insert!" I have heard this more then once as well. When you think about it, how...

    G'day from Western Australia

Do you think you will need a 'roo guard on the front of a deuce or will their bumpers and grills do the trick? :-) Welcome from Minnesota

    Bad head gasket or worse?

It will be good to see what others say too, but as long as the things that are highlighted are true, maybe you should run it more and get more evidence. Does your temp gauge work good? If the truck gets up to temp and holds it well, and doesn't overheat, your cooling system is doing what it is...

    help with basic problems

I agree that the steering ram isn't attached well. Looks like someone squeezed a bird where great welds belong. Material probably lighter then I would have went as well. You are a welder, judging by your user name. You will be able to straighten that out.

    hydraulic power steering kit

That's what I was thinking too. I have never installed one, but have heard that you need to do a bit of shroud trimming to put on a 5 ton pump. I sure agree tho that as long as you can get one with a gear and ready to bolt on, there could be no beter solution. If someone is getting ready to...

    53"s on my 818 w/w

I only ask, because I was wondering if you were aware of the rubbing issue with them when you steer to either extreme. It is not something that you cannot overcome, but it does occur.

    hydraulic power steering kit

They didn't make a dedicated kit as of a year ago and I doubt they do now. The reason I know this is because I had been in contact with them several times to put together a dedicated kit for the M35A2. I was trying to get a few different companies in the steering world to do it. It looks like...

Combat wheels, FMTV wheels, HEMTT wheels

You got it G. All 7 of my combat wheels are currently tire-less and getting sand blasted and painted. I am not sure when I will get them back, but can get you pics and measurements when I do. Also I got 6 that are the same and 1 oddball one. the odd one is older I believe. Has smaller studs...

Combat wheels, FMTV wheels, HEMTT wheels

Combat wheels, FMTV wheels ,,is there a difference? I haven't heard of FMTV wheels. There is combat wheels on my 5 ton. (at least that is what I thought they were) Anyways, 1 thing worth mentioning is that the combat wheels with there big offset like a 14.00x20 tire. 16.00's tend to run a...

    " NO OIL PRESSURE " oa331

Replacing the beer was a good move to start with..I am hoping someone who has worked on these engines chimes in with their take on it. I cannot recall ever reading about that idler gear shaft shearing before, but that would sure put the stops on the oil pressure. You could fix it by getting the...
