I just read all this for the first time. In your first post you stated that the pump inlet was 3/4 and it was supplied with 1/2 hose. In your last mod. you also increased the supply hose to 3/4. This solved your starvation problem not the relocation.
System will usually self bleed. Turn the power switch to on and the elect. in tank pump (if pump is working should be able to hear it at fuel tank) should handle it. The line that failed what was it for or where did it go from to. Good luck and remember getting there is half the fun.
Not for me but kinda neat. Something to think about is the volume of air needed to operate the cylinders and what kinda restriction the 5/32 line would create. The current air switch has something like 3/8 line. This could make for very slow shifts. Maybe an air relay, (??) low volume air...
If you changed the lines and didn't bleed the system you have air in the lines. The fuel tank can be pressurized thus forcing fuel through the lines. Start at the tank working toward the engine bleeding air and checking for leaks. If you'll do a search on this topic you will find more indepth info.
Nice work and description. This past spring I did this to a M37 using parts from Snake River 4x4. Very similar process. Not having a good option for the horn and not wanting a button on the dash I improvised. I ran the wire inside the column as orginal and then let it exit at the u-joint...
