Warthog and I scheduled a quick towbar recovery of a M35A2 today. We used a M931A2 as the primary tow vehicle, but when it gave out, we used the LSSV to pull them both to the finish line.
The truth is I ran out of fuel in the left tank as we pulled in the gate, and couldn't get it switched over.
I believe the two diameters are 2" (standard/commercial) and 3.5" (oversize/military). On military tractors, any all wheel drive tractor bigger than a 5 ton is 3.5". Everything else is 2".
The M871 and M872 are very well suited for the M915A1. Neither are well suited for the M916. The M871 is well suited for M931 in lower speed and offload environments.

I think this is your 3rd post here. Before you alienate a state full of helpful members, I would caution you about calling out Oklahoma...
