11 is green, but like a lot of trails has some harder sections. Dreco, your front bumper made it as far, his rear bumper made it further than your rear bumper. It was good wheeling with you.
Good time, met a lot of nice people. With CUCVs deuces and 5 tons, different things are trail obstacles. Trail 23 was a blue that slowed us down a bunch. Ground clearance was an issue for the CUCVs and bigger rocks whip the deuces steering around.
Good wheeling with you dan. Your truck was flexing pretty good coming up the trench on 11 on the way to the pole line trail. I don't know what type of power steering you want to do. Let me know if you want to look at the air assist on my deuce or power steering systems on my 800 and 900...
I have run the NE property a few times. It has some open section and some real rocky technical sections. There is a pretty big green loop. I split time watching the King of the Hammers race and running tail gunner. The guys in the front, did not read the trail signs, they were too busy...
I am still coming but changing up plans a bit. I am going to met up with Dan and the other guys in the convoy at Cabelas. I'll have my tan 931 with a deuce bed. My son did not want to go on this trip and is having a friend over, so I am going to take them to cabelas to shop, check out the...
Lt Dan texted that he had brake trouble that he has since fixed, so I believe he is all set. We have run pretty much all of the green trails the past few trips. We have mixed in blues on some trips, but some guys did not like the rocks, tighter trails and occasional multi point turns on blue...
Shenkman has gone soft, riding around in a cushy jeep cherokee. He has been complaining about sand in his mangina or noise from his flex plate or something. Sometimes he sounds like a bitch and I just tune him out.
Just kidding buddy. Get your stuff sorted so was can go wheeling.
Plethora of Guns. Don't do too much welding, you will limit your articulation. A mog only has the three mounts for the bed, so you can get lots of frame flex. You must have been getting some good flex to generate cracks and breaks, maybe you need some more flexible mounts or bolting through...
RC does not care what time you come in to camp, but folks trying to sleep might not be too pleased if you roll in beside them at 2AM an make a bunch of noise. I am going to come up Friday to camp and the 8:30 or so is a good start time. It looks like we will have a good mix of trucks.
I can guide. I have the past several rallies. In the past we have often run as one group but stick mainly to greens to get everyone through pretty smooth, but we can run anything the group wants to run.
Thankfully PA is much more old fashioned (read greater freedom) than CA, which I am sure you can appreciate given your reference to you location as being "occupied kalifornia". That said, you cannot have passengers in the bed of a truck in PA either, but my personal position is that troop...
I really like this truck. Being able to load six boats and eight people is neat. Trips like this demonstrate to my loving wife that these military trucks have genuine utility.
i want to install six seat belts along one side of the troop seats. I don't plan on long trips, but have taken the...
I loaded five kayaks a canoe my wife three kids and three of their friends and went to the lake. I really like the sides of the cargo cover rolled up. Got a lot of looks and people taking pics.
