Yes sir I have the 800 series in my cross hairs. If I can get some under hood time in at the rally they are as good as built. I will let everyone know as soon as the prototype passes inspection and QC.
Now is the time to chime in if any one needs some parts cut on the water jet. I can bring it to the rally no problem. I'm building up hood lift kits now
Just shoot me a PM I'll see what I can do!
I had a bit of a setback today. My 22.5 super single tires aren't going to work. It seems both the rims I found are bent.... Just my luck. So I'm going to strike up a deal with the tire man and see if I can get some different tires to go back on my bud wheels.
That works this was just a quick fix to get me home. Bulb shouldn't burn out though it only takes a quarter of an amp to make the relay flash. The load is on the relay not the bulb.
The flasher requires a negative connection to chassis ground. The light goes inline there. The relay only wants 12 volts so I created a series circuit to absorb the extra 12v. if at all possible if you use a volt ohm meter, the bulb should show 7 or 8 ohms resistance. When flashing it will be...
New EGT came in from Auber instruments in Atlanta they offer it in 4 different LED colors and 12 or 24 volts comes with everything you need to check the heat. For 112.00
I was out and about and I noticed I had no blinkers. Hmmm? So I checked a few things and found out it was a bad flasher. So I popped in to a few local parts store and got the same reply 3 times nope can't help ya.
So I went down the electronic isle and grabbed a electronic 12v flasher (3...
Wipers! Yes! I ordered some wiper motors off of amazon. A pair of 12 volt for the rat rod and a pair of 24 volt for ma deuce ah. They didn't quite fit like I wanted so I made a spacer that allows me to flip them up outta sight and shrinks up the long shaft hanging out the windshield. If anyone...
Well I have been hard at the little things. I installed a trans cooler along with a trans temp sensor. I also wrapped the turbo outlet pipe all the way to the bottom of the frame. I also installed a 2000 watt inverter so on those rare occasions you need a little A/C current it's there.
I can't wait to get a second helping of chillymac and some nanner pudding! The real trick will be tow baring the rat rod up there with My Deuce Ah I hope she's up for the task. Ole ratty weighs in at 10,240 so it might be a slow go but I'll be there no doubt.
Well I got the turbo hooked up to the factory filter housing today, glory bee! At 20 psi of boost that thing would make your skin crawl!
I also added a few led side marker lights.
