I got an email back from Mr. Blonder. He said that the city isn't going to do any paperwork for ownership. It looks like the only legal way to do this is to have them removed by a city licensed tower who will then take over the storage; an attempt at ownership will then have to be made, followed...
I haven't seen the vehicles in person. I'm going to try to arrange to go over there. The city would have to do some type of paperwork for release of abandoned property. I know they've been there for many years; way past the law for abandoned property. I used to look at them when I passed there...
I got an email this morning from the MVPA HQ. There is a Baltimore city worker who has been tasked with clearing a yard owned by Baltimore City, off Broening Highway. The lot has some abandoned junk in it. Among the junk are two deuces and an old jeep. He is trying to find someone, or several...
Changed out the front axle boots…again. Well, one of them. The inner ring for the right side broke, so I'm waiting for the new one so I can finish the job.
The actual law as passed can be found here:

If the link doesn't work for you, you should be able to copy and paste it into your browser's address bar. The law itself does not prohibit occasional transportation; it only states that you...
In reading back through the posts, I forgot about the end run, super secret passing of the HB last year. They made the separate historic category for over 10,000 lbs. They made it a 25 year requirement, and removed the occasional transportation wording. The restriction is more geared towards...
If you wanted to use the truck as a regular, every day truck, you would have to register it as a Class "E" vehicle. You would have to pay $5.00 for every 1,000 lbs. of weight up to the maximum weight limit. That would run you about $250 for a two year registration for a deuce at 25,000 pounds...
There was an upgrade done for the brake light switch on Deuces. It moves the switch from the MC to the air pack side to eliminate issues like the one here. It was one of the first things I did because of intermittent brake light problems. It's worked perfectly ever since. You can pick them up at...
We may be there with both trucks, if we can get the gremlins sorted. If so, there will be 4 of us. Possibly three…or two even…. As you can tell, things aren't exactly solid just yet.

We used Moyer's Fuel Tank Renu in Pittsburgh. It should come back as good as new, totally rust free and coated.
Moyer Fuel Tank Renu - antique gas tank repair restoration, classic car gas tanks GASTANK
We got the headlights sorted, both high and low beam. We got the tail lamp ans stop lamp working too, but it needs a more permanent set up. There aren't any turn signals installed, and the BO lights aren't hooked up. We just pulled the fuel tank and sent it out for refurb.
Sorry I've been away for awhile. As for the three prong cable, there are two different types. The original one is much longer than it needs to be. In later models they shortened it and it goes directly over to the generator. We had a long one at first, then got the shorter one with the kit from...
