I have a NOS camouflage insulated cab top for M939 series five tons. Still has the paper on both sides of the zippered window - $300
I also have some like new (95%+) 11.00-20 NDCC tires made by Titan in 2003. These were new when I got them. We only ran them for about 300 miles before changing...
Nice trucks! Are those steel plates for extra weight between the drivers side front fender and the bumper on the M936A2? I've had wreckers get a little light on the front end when lift towing before...
I just went out and measured my M561 and one of my M35A2s. Length, a Gama Goat tractor by itself will fit. Width will be close. My goat measures right at 7' wide on the body. Inside my M35A2 bed measures 7' 3" wide. I think it will fit, barely. Tires might scuff the sides of the bed. Side boards...
I'm not sure how the lines are plumbed on a 715, but I know on some other MVs one distributor vent line will be hooked to intake manifold vacuum and the other to the clean side of the air intake between the air cleaner and carburetor. My theory on this has been that the little air flow helps...
The the upright flexible part is the same as an AB-15 if I remember correctly, just with a green plastic base to bolt into a scoop mount instead of the porcelain base used on the older AB-15.
Willys/Kaiser's first contract ran from 3/63 to 1/64 9,025 units built cost was $2,780.00 each, and their second contract ran from 1/64 to 6/64 9,600 units built cost was $2,631.00 each. Information from Jim Gilmore
Also, Fruehauf made the bodies for the Willys/Kaiser contract, and I think Budd made most if not all of the bodies for the Ford contracts (both the early M151s and later M151A1s)
You are incorrect. They are rare, so not many people know they exist. See attached pictures of M151 data plates marked "Willys Motors Inc." and "Kaiser Jeep Corp.". Willys Overland was bought out by Kaiser in the 1950s, and they changed the name to Willys Motors then. Willys Motors changed names...
If I remember correctly, Fruehauf made the bodies for the Willys Motors (not to be confused with Willys Overland) M151s in 1963, and Kaiser Jeep M151s in 1964. They were the same vehicle built under the same contract, the name just changed sometime in late 1963 or early 1964. Also, I believe...
I'd like to have it there, but I'm not sure that's a realistic goal considering other commitments in my life right now. The truck is ugly, but mostly original. One of my biggest obstacles is that it's in Western Arkansas at a friend's place, and far from being ready to drive home to...
I hope to make it to this event since it's so close. I just figured out that my 1968 M52A2 was overhauled in Okinawa in 1973, meaning most likely it was in country. I'd love to have that truck there, but it's got a long way to go...
