    Master cylinder replacement, 1987 m35a2c

I think the fact that master cylinder she is holding is upside down may be throwing some people. At any rate he should be able to get refund or exchange for right one. The supplier should be able to straighten this out let know how you make out.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Did some welding on the bed today. Fixs a hole that had been cut in in the bed for a water tank that was about 1 1/2 x 2 7/8 inches. I know I should of got a picture of the hole before I welded but here's a couple shots. I could fill and grind more but I think this will do.

You can't still get lead additive can you? I know on the old cars one would do a valve job and put in harden seats.

    Master Cylinder Vent

Soooooooooo..... upon further investigation that indeed does go to a vent system under the hood and not back into the brake system as it appears a first glance. Now it makes more sense to me. Well if anybody doesn't have vent line and is wondering how it's suppose to be hooked up I know:)

    Master Cylinder Vent

I know they make a remote but that's not my question. The vent looks like it hooks back in to the brake system so unlike other master cylinder that just have a cap how does it not introduce air into the brake lines when you undo it to check the level. Thanks for the response though.

    Master Cylinder Vent

so this is how my vent line is hooked up. I couldn't find any pictures of other trucks vent system. So it goes from the top of the master cyclinder back to this block where the other lines are. Is this correct can I just diconnect the vent line at master cyclinder. Then unscrew the plug and...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Just like replacing both batteries instead of just one if ones bad in most cases it will work for awhile but sooner or later it might bite you.QUOTE=w250guy;2244483]Curious as the why everyone runs a separate bank of batteries for...

    Upgrade to M35A2 personal heater

So since it heating season again thought I'd chime in here about a couple of things. one is these heaters have valves on the heater hoses on the engine side and sometimes it's as simple as someone has closed them and that's why your heat doesn't work. Also your truck needs to heat up in order...
