I was originally thinking it was "Commercial Utility Truck Vehicle" for the pick-ups, and C.U.Cargo.V. for the blazers. I now agree it is just soldier speak.
I've never seen any in or around the Fort except for mine. There also is one '09 at a salvage yard here in town. I'm thinkin' 'bout startin' up a posse...
AC g60's are kickin' butt in my '28. You should crimp on new ends to fit the bigger spade terminals of any new plugs. Bad connections in this system starts a domino effect of not goodness.
Lifts also look higher than advertised because of the taller tire too. Just going to a 35" with no lift spring or lift block, will lift the truck about 2".
ACES: Do those 35's fit OK without any trimming, or rubbing? Just curious.
Looks very nice... Those wheels and stance remind me of that...
My '86 '28 has a cherry dash,(condition, not color), it was somehow preserved under a quarter inch of dust. Especially weird, because the truck had no drivers door window for who knows how long. Most of the ones I have seen on these trucks have the Grand Canyon running through them.
The one on Ebay for $75 worked on all 5 of mine that were swollen.
It was slow going, but they all came out without breaking. Also, I was able to get the truck started with the three new ones i could get out, then drove around to warm up the swollen ones, hoping that the metal would be more...
