That was one of the options I was considering. I was also thinking of windshield sealant. I am just afraid they would be a major PITA if I ever had to remove the window again for some reason. Since you recommend it though, I may give it a test run and see how it goes.

Boyce didn't have it. I was thinking RTV but I don't think it is UV resistant which is kind of a big deal for me since I am out in FL and I am not yet cool enough to have a garage that fits my deuce! I think this black rubber sealant would probably work but it doesn't say anything about UV...

I have been looking everywhere for the rubber gasket that goes around the glass in the rear of the hardtop. Anyone know of a supplier? Or even a PN or NSN? I've called several of the surplus places and still can't find it.

Yeah I completely agree with you here. I am planning on putting in AC so that isn't an issue. The fixed winshield would help seal the truck for the AC too. All you would have to do is weld a 3/4" flange around the inside of the frame, cut glass to fit, and glue it in. Not too much work for...

So a LITTLE off topic, but I was curious if anyone had welded in windshield frames? As in having two stationary windshields that do not fold out and are mounted like standard vehicles. This could be a good way to never have to worry about seals again... so long as you never plan on opening...

Has anyone replaced their older gauge set withaftermarket Gauges? The gauges on my deuce are very hard to read at night. I would also like my gauges to match when I add my pro and boost gauge. Thanks for any help!

That's what I was thinking but there was nothing in the bottom to keep the pole from banging up the fender. I may have to weld a washer in there for that purpose...although I am a little worried about a flag being so close to the stack.
