Camping in the back of a 1008

This is what I did too. I keep the tailgate up and put a small step ladder outside. Kept me dry and bug free. The Velcro cover over the zippers was enough to keep it closed.

Momma gets a A+++ for even being out there in the heat, helping out, running the wrecker! My pregnant wife would have said "What? NO!"

Just a couple friendly corrections. Dial caliper is not spelled caliber. A digital caliper does not have a dial. Good luck in your quest.

    M1008 Wheel/Tire upgrade

I put Goodyear Duratrac's on my M1008. 265/75 R16 10 ply. They have a little over 4,000 miles on them and so far so good. They are a little wider than stock, but the same height as stock, and are on the original 6.5" wide wheels.

    toasted 6.2 l

Wow Nick, that really sucks! I always thought about stuff like that going bad when i'm far from home. So far it hasn't happened to me yet. I have zero experience with 6.2/6.5 motor swaps, but if it were me in that situation i think I would go for the reasonably priced 6.5 non turbo new in the...

Cool looking truck. Unfortunately it is probley a future restoration project or the owner wants 1/2 a million dollars for it cause General Patton drove it across Europe or something like that. I had a similar find here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/salvage-yard-info/30433-very-old-junkyard.html
