Hey, need some help from the group.
I have a MEP 701A 3kw diesel gen set with Yanmar engine.
Oil level good, fuel tank is half full, battery is dead as a door nail.
When I try to jump it off my Deuce it instantly starts runs for a second and
then the DC Control Circuit breaker pops and kills...
I am also looking to pick up a fuel pump and a passenger side vent window for a M1009 CUCV for my neighbor, a retired SGM....
if anyone has any of these, please let me know.....
MWMULES, let me know what you want for the 101 bows/corners.
I need a couple spares for my 101's too.....one 5 lug and one 8 lug...
(why didn't I get two the same!!)
I had a pile of medical chests, but they are all gone......
However, if anyone wants any, I do have maybe 20 or so military 5 gallon water cans (plastic ones) for $12 a piece I could bring. Just let me know though.
I WILL BE THERE! My Deuce needs brake work.....so alas I will just be coming looking for parts and pieces....... I'll be looking for a good Deuce bench seat and seat for a springer. Seat and back. Complete kit to put a soft top on a Deuce (someone pulled the hardtop off one of mine, so need...
No, the wheel wells on a M101 are too narrow for a S-250 by about 3 inches. It would fit if you narrowed the wheel wells. I just spent a bit of time measuring my trailers and S-250. I was hoping to put mine in a M101 but its going in a M105 instead. With the tailgate down there will be a nice 4...
Could someone post a pic of a S-250 shelter in an M105 trailer, please!
I'd like to see what it looks like before I stuff mine in.
Looks like it would fit perfectly leaving you a nice porch in back for some extra room.
thanks!
OK, thanks to all the info supplied in this thread I have decided to go with
14.5s and found a source that I can actually afford!
Seems to me that the 14.5s offer a good balance overall for my specific needs.
One question though, will a 14.5 spare fit in the standard location???
thanks for...
OK.....oh my..........where can I find 14.5 tires at a good price!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man, those look awesome and exactly like what I am looking for.
Height of the 11.00x20 but with more width. But not as big as the
395s.....
sexy........looks like the best of both worlds.....
OK, for some reason I thought 395s and 14.5s were just about identical in size.
Did not know the 14.5s were the same height as a 11.00....good to know.
How much wider are the 14.5s than the 11.00?
Should they be mounted on wider than stock rims?
Hmmm, something else to think about.....
I am going to try to bring my M35A2 with S280 shelter to this!
Anyone sell parts or widgets at this?
If I can make it out I'll do a feature article on it in one of the magazines I write
for and put it up at TacticalGunFan.com - Home
Really looking forward to this!
Hey everyone!
I just wanted to say thanks for all the input, comments and info shared so far.
Really appreciate it.
I am leaning towards 11.00x20s right now. If I were back in Maine then I agree with the chains comments. I never saw a skidder without them either.
Kansas though is...
It's time for me to upgrade the tires on my Deuce.
But while I love the look of the huge 395 type super singles I really wonder about
how much clearance they have and how much less movement there will be in the suspension before they hit.
So I've been leaning towards 11x20 radials singled out...
Now that is what I am talking about!
See, this is why I love this **** site.
I went from knowing NOTHING about Deuces to buying one, putting a winch on, now a S-280 and learning a whole lot. Every time I get confused or need something one post is all it takes. You guys rock!
