Also don’t forget to burp your system, an air pocket can cause you to overheat and other problems.

I run a lot of farm equipment, we always drain the coolant, fill with distilled water then run for 20 min. Drain and repeat until there is no color when you drain the water. It usually takes 2-3 times with distilled water. I personally run Mobil delvac coolant or John Deere coolguard 2. Cat ELC...
