Any interest in a Houston-Galveston Area Rally?

Works for me! Just post the when and where details and I'll be there even if it means staying up all night to make repairs in order to get there!

Any interest in a Houston-Galveston Area Rally?

Got the 1009 back running a few minutes ago so if luck still holds I will be at bucees around 12:00. If the 1009 decides not to go in the morning I will just drive over and meet everyone for lunch. See everyone there!

From the ebay ad, it looks to be 1:72 scale which I beleive is hotwheels sized. Might want to check before you end up with a small model.

    winch question

I'm running the 12,000# Badlands winch from harbor freight on a receiver hitch for front or rear use. For $299 I think it is a good deal and I used the savings for two snatch blocks.

New guy from Texas checking in

Lunch and the rally sound good. EmbarkChief, PM me and let's see if we can work something out. I work around Cypresswood and Stubner-Airline but can drive as needed. nofearnohope, BCS will give me an excuse to drive up and see my son at ATM.

Any interest in a Houston-Galveston Area Rally?

I never saw a confirmed date/time so never made it. With the holidays it may be difficult to get anything going until after the new year but I'm game.

    "Suspension Specials" lift kits???

That is about as cheap as I've seen for a lift. Thanks for the link. Might have to order that one.

This site is great with lots of great members! I wanted to say thank you to a member who really helped me out with my needed list. From the help of members on this site I've now found everything. Still have the hard start after replacing the GPs, they needed it but it didn't resolve the issue...

    Blinker issue has me stumped...

Well, the ebrake ground is there and looks good. The 552 was ordered from LMC when I was ordering lots of other parts and just easier to order than try sneak out from work. I will pull and re-check the grounds at the lights again this weekend.

    Blinker issue has me stumped...

Hmmm, there wasn't a ground mounted on the ebrake. I'll dig deeper tonight and see if I can find it somewhere else. I'll also see if I can find it in the TM and see what it should go to on the other end and start there. You guys rock! Thank you!

    Blinker issue has me stumped...

I ordered the flasher from LMC truck and it was a 552. I thought that there may be a difference and that is why I swapped the working one in the hazards with the new one. The hazards still worked and blinkers didn't so "assumed" it was good. Warthog, thanks for the pic. I don't remember that...

    Blinker issue has me stumped...

Warthog, I'm guessing you are referring to #3) Hazards and brakes cause hazards to stop flashing. I should have been more clear and this is the foot brake causing the lights to stay solid. I will recheck grounds ASAP and report back. The only thing that has questioning this is the hazards...

    Blinker issue has me stumped...

I've been reading through old post and trying to diagnosis my turn indicator issue and I'm stumped. Here are the symptons: 1) Hazards work all four corners, blink perfect 2) Turn indicators will light bulds in the correct direction but will not flash 3) Hazards and brakes cause hazards to stop...
