That's just it.. the one on the other side looked brand new and had great looking grease. I do plan to at least take the rear 4 hubs off and have a look before I call this project done. I hope that one is the only fluke.
Seems my stupidity saves the day!
Took the front end apart.
Good thing I broke it, that bad bearing is the one on the drivers side. I would have hated to have it break on the way to/from Haspin. I hope to have it back together next weekend. Lesson learned.
Took the front end apart after snapping an axle trying to drive over a car.

It wasn't in any water when it was stuck in the swamp nor did I drive it through any. I learned in the swamp not to drive where you can't see what you are driving on, and smashing the car... well don't do that again. I think after spending 4k I know what the limits of my truck now are. :oops...
It went exactly how I thought it would except for the front axle part. It was funny, the car was under the front driver wheel and the truck was wearing it like a roller skate.
Eastern has rebuilt axles for 2450 and I have a place I can have them shipped to, so that is an option for me at this...
Me being dumb again! I had just got the truck back after being stuck in a marsh on some logs for 4 weeks, and decided lets try and run over a car!
Well the truck got stuck on top of the car and I am pretty sure I snapped a drive axle in the front. I have no power at the front wheels. All I...
I have given that serious thought. I just keep a roll of paper towels and then start jamming them in the bottom and that prevents most of the inside rain.
I have a Glowshift 3 in one. I have the extra PSI hooked up to the final fuel filter so I know what my pressure is. I can even tell if the in tank pump is working before I start the truck. It's a 12v gauge so you have to have a adapter/separate system to run it but its a great gauge and tells me...
Here are some videos of a trip I did on Saturday afternoon.

I had an ideal. We should get all the trucks out in that open area by the barns and line all the trucks up and take pictures of them. Do it some time Saturday afternoon weather permitting?
I could use some stop/turn bulbs. I have a bunch of 97 bulbs from pinball machines but they are 12V and don't last too long. Thanks.
I too would be interested in having fueling turned up a bit. I still need to have the FDC bypassed. If someone can help that has done this before that would be...
I was going to use it to pick up a new garage door for a friend but it turned out he went and got it the day before. So I figured while I was out I would climb some Mall Mountains.

I have done the same, it's not that bad as long as you don't hit and large drifts or cars or lamp post! I was drifting it around corners and all I can say is it is like life is stuck in slow motion and there is nothing you can do to correct if things go south.
Tried to go up a hill in snow but could not do it. I could get the front axle all most to the top but then it would start hopping and wandering so I would stop and roll back down. Went down it instead. Drove out in a empty corn field and cut through some nice 2' drifts of snow. I am impressed...
Yeah, I don't care that much about going out after midnight by my friends do. I enjoyed the fall trip. After wheeling all day in a deuce you get wore out and I don't feel like going out any more after doing the Gimpy tours. But my friends will go out till they pass out or run out of gas. And at...
I enjoyed the fall rally last year. Have been to Haspin many times before but last time was the first time in the "camp grounds". Will the gates be locked up after 12? My friend that goes with me likes to wheel to 3-4 am (the ambulance guy) and was not happy about being locked in/out.
