In top of engine, and appears to be made of brass attached to top water hose manifold. Has a air line running to it. Bleeding air all the time. What to do? Remove and clean? Lubricate? Thanks for any help. Jon

by the way.....batteries charged up just fine...took 2 days...load tested and ready to go.

Replaced the box........all is well. The alternator gets checked this week under a load....adjustments will be made as needed to it......thanks Jon

there were broken alternator belts under the hood....I figure it just ran out of juice..and had to be jumped. the control box was not sending current to the alternator. I have started charging the batteries. Individually, 10Amps ...for a day or so then drop back to 2 amps for the rest of sunday...

Thanks Stein........going to test and charge all batteries.....reinstall them and then attack the control box.......I have been told to tap it, and see if it will get the relays moving...lacking that, I am going to install Jeff's spare and give it a try. I will post the results... Jon

Oh yeah./......JUMP in chalk on the drivers door......alternator inop, guages inop.....other than air....oil pressure.... ran like a scalded ape......drove her home to St Louis after getting a jomp from the yard boss..... Jon

5 ton tractor, batteries dead, jump start, running, no alternator charge indicator, no engine temp indicator, no fuel tank indicator, only air pressure and oil pressure indicators work. Replaced alternator, same result. Its not the alternator. Where do i go now? Thanks, Jon

Picked up an A3 on the 14th and the whole thing went pretty well. Truck is clean and complete. CTIS inoperative due to a flat tire. Overcame that and drove her up on the trailer. Got her home in St Louis and noticed a padlock on the driver storage box. One bolt cutter revealed a tool set...

M35A3 Tire issues Just picked up mine wednesday at Ft Riley. 2-semi flat tires and one really flat one. CTIS inop. Aired them up with compresser. Will be investigating the O ring issues.
