Does anybody have any experience with moving a S250 shelter with Transporter Airmobile Model 4003 Mobilizer? I have downloaded TM 55-1740-201-13 and 23P. I am correct that there is a kit needed to be installed on the shelter for this to work? Anybody have any pictures?

The aftermarket top was probably worth half that. I would say that something that sells in 5 hours was priced below its actual value but it would cost a lot to restore it.

I am sure I am in the running to win then. :)
I have 3 that I bought 15 to 20 years ago. Got started on one but didn't get too far along with it. I started buying running CUCVs and M35s when GL started flooding the market with them. Then sh.. happened and I have been away from the hobby for...
There are probably more old repowered and fixed with civilian parts/12 volt conversions than bone stock trucks out there at this point.

What about the trucks in these conditions? If what was a $500 parts truck is $2000 now, is a $10,000 show truck really worth $40,000?

I am trying to get my head around what the current value of a M37 is and found this thread that is 10 years old. Would anyone care to update their opinions on what this truck would be worth today? Did it ever go back on the market?
Here is a link to a good thread on the fuel shut off; They are really bad to stick if it has ultra-low sulfur fuel in it. https://steelsoldiers.com/threads/how-to-remove-the-fuel-shutoff-rod-on-the-ip.143476/
Probably an auxiliary mounting point for the hitch so it can be pulled by a bigger truck like a 2.5 ton.
The trailer is probably a short run commercially built trailer that won't have a TM.
The shelter looks like a S-280 but smaller by http://www.gichner.us/products.html . There is a TM for...
I bet there would be many tickets and they wouldn't wait on you to come back with the right truck. I bet they would call the on call heavy wrecker. There is no telling what it would cost in the end. I just love these can be done vs should be done discussions. In 2019 you also have to consider...
The insurance adjuster is probably going to want to total it, keep it and give you $1500 for it calling it an old wore out 80s model pickup. Just keep you guard up and if you keep it don't let them brand your title salvage. It might pay to act like your neck is hurting if they try to give you a...
Since the highest point in Mississippi is 800 feet, I will defer to others as far as that one stretch of road but it still sounds too sluggish to me. There are several good threads about fuel lines here. I seem to remember one about the external appearance looking good but the inside being...
From reading the whole thread I can reassure you that there is something wrong with your truck. It sounds like it isn't getting enough fuel. Unless you stay on topic and answer pertinent questions we won't be able to help. The most glaring one is, is this a new problem or has it always run like...
There should be plenty of body donors out there as many as was sold out of Montgomery. I have one in Tishomingo, MS but that would be a long way to drag it back. The big question would be if the frame is bent so it can keep its title and if it would be worth the effort.
Let's change that to...
I have successfully used a title bond for one of my M1009s because I could get it for $50 and less trouble. But that was way back at the turn of the century. I never understood how GL got away with charging so much for something that should have been mandatory but they are ancient history now...
I have personally had them request an item back for a demil code change. I was buying something almost every month so I took it back. I was under the impression that if I refused they would ban me from buying anything else.
