Too bad they aren't a supporter anymore....everytime I ordered from them while they were supporters I always thanked them for doing so and mentioned I saw their ad here.

I think the loggers in the hills of southern Ohio are the big customers around here for them. Use them to haul out of the woods.

Roger had a couple of those a while back....haven't been down to his lot in a while so don't know if he still has them or not. He said they sell like hotcakes for big $$$...big demand.

I know why ours were so easy.... We removed the manifolds that run from the hoses to the heads. The hoses just slip on and off then....it only takes a couple minutes. I wouldn't even think of trying to do it with the water manifolds connected to the heads....it would be damn near impossible to...

This whole saga is a prime example of why it's not a good idea to buy a GL truck when you have no way of inspecting it presonally, it's half a continent away, and you posess limited deuce repair knowledge/skills. The outcome of all this could have been much worse than the inconvieninces suffered.

When we did the head gasket we really didn't have any trouble at all w/ those hoses....just lucky I guess ;)

No...it will NOT flow enough air. There are very few non Dod filters that flow enough...a lot will fit the cannister, but don't use them. Look in the old threads for mor einfo.

So far my son (BajaPower) and I have done quite a bit of wrenching to our deuce....replaced injection pump, replaced injectors, head gaskets, changing tires, upgrade wiper system, etc. The most miserable project so far has to be the project we did tonight, replacing the emergency brake cable...

A few years ago twin turbo set ups was the hot ticket on gasoline marine engines....they were pretty common to see. There would simply be one per exhaust manifold on V engines. The advent of ProCharger style superchargers pretty much sent gasoline tubos in marine use to the dustbin. Never saw...

Just to clarify..... Both the 11" and 13" are plain old standard wiper blades that you can buy about anywhere...BUT to ose them you have to pitch the impotent DoD arms and switch to the NAPA 60-750 arms....these are the arms that most hot rodders use on their creations as they fit damn near any...

Gave up on the DoD wiper system (finally) and went the NAPA route. Here is what BajaPower and I can add to this: The NAPA 60-750 arms do work just fine, a LOT more spring pressure....they actually wipe the windshield instead of just half assed smearing the water around! However, while the 11"...

Sure you can! You just have to use a tube. Done that many times with split rims and tubeless tires.....

That's what BajaPower pointed out, the set up Fred had was a T Stat bypass and he needs to move the connection back like ours, he just didn't word it correctly
