    M35a2 keeps blowing headlight

I don't so Bob, the voltage regulator controls voltage to all bulbs. They would all be dim if the voltage regulator's output was low and your batteries would go dead

    M35a2 keeps blowing headlight

Bobweb, after thinking about this a few minutes, I think you could get a higher voltage than safe for your lighting if the voltage regulator is malfunctioning. However as said before, it would effect all operating lights, not just one.

    M35a2 keeps blowing headlight

I think you got some bad headlamp replacements. Several years ago I recall hearing about a bad batch of lamps being distributed at MV rallys and shows, don't remember the brand. I've experienced the same scenario but mine were both sides. Also I feel that if you were having a voltage surge, it...

    New truck in Northern Virginia

Thank you Mullaney, my plans are still good. I'll be at Hagertown on Friday. Can't make a weekend out of it though, as much as I'd like to.

    New truck in Northern Virginia

Thank you for confirming my thoughts CGarbee. I've been to the WAC/B &G rally at Ripkin Stadium many times. It just appeared to me that Mullaney's information indicated that the rally was still at Ripkin Stadium.

    New truck in Northern Virginia

Now I'm confused Mullaney, is the show at Ripkin Stadium in Aberdeen or is it in Hagerstown? My plans were to go to Hagerstown on Friday 13th.

    Original, Spicy or Extra Crispy?

Spicey for me. I've done a few upgrades, but somebody that is not that familiar or doesn't own a deuce would never know

Official Hagerstown MD May 12-14 2022 sell/trade/wanted list

I'm looking for the top section of the exhaust stack (the part with the crook at the tip) for a M35A2? I'll be at the event Friday.

    Stupid Bosch Security Screw…

I wouldn't be satisfied with just one screw holding the cover on, just my opinion.

    Stupid Bosch Security Screw…

If you must drill and re-tap, buy a left hand or reverse drill bit matching what the tap calls for. Sometimes the broken screw will back out while drilling

Definitive conclusions - Which rear axle is best to disable and how?

INFChief, he's asking about removing the axle shafts, not the axle housing. No center of gravity, stability, handling characteristics, or load capacity change by just removing axle shafts. If I recall correctly, years ago there was an opportunity to buy front lock out hubs and a conversion kit...

    Hydrolocked, big repair ahead.

If you drill accurately a 7/16" bolt will surely go in a hole bored with a 7/16" drill bit

MEp-803A 3-wire connection to house not working and need power asap!

All he needs to do is make sure the "Main" breaker to his service is off, that will insure no back feed to the grid.

Increasing the air intake in a deuce

I actually did go to a three room school house for 6 years, from 1961 to 1967. First through sixth grades, two grades per room.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I changed the water separator fuel filter and both secondary filters, all spin on. It was a very easy task with the Jatonka spin on adaptors I had install on my Deuce when I bought it from Eastern Surplus about 9 years ago.

FL Any experiences with titles for a M35A2 ( obtaining or having one transfered over to your name)

I have my 1970 Deuce insured by JC Taylor, however they too require it to be housed inside a building. Cost approx $180 per year here in Maryland

    Another FDC bypass question

How do I know if my Deuce FDC was deleted before I bought it ?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

And I forgot to mention, I did repack the bearings very well before final assembly

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Had a leaking seal on the right front tandem of my Deuce. I disassembled, cleaned and reassembled with new inner and outer seals, and grease resistant silicone rubber in the keyway. A motorcycle jack makes placing the hub back on the spindle very easy.
